What's for dessert?

.

There are nights that he just isn't hungry and will swing his head violently to avoid the spoon.

Blue Blanket Generation II

Like his father, Evan has a blue blanket he buries his face in before he goes to sleep. These pictures were taken after his evening bath. I was trying to settle him down but he had other things in mind. Barely dressed, with binky in mouth, he decided that he and his blue blanket were going for a trip into the living room to play a little more.

I tried to take away his blanket since he was dragging it all over the floor, but the kid has an iron grip. I give up easily I suppose. But if you've heard his yells, you might do the same too. His volume options are loud and louder. There is no mute button on him.

He's made a friend...his name is Evan!

It's his new thing. He climbs up to the mirror and talks to it. He giggles, plays and sometimes tries to eat his reflection. A few days ago, he tried to watch himself drink out of his sippy cup. That wasn't too successful.

More on Evan's che che

Evan has learn that he should be gentle with Patty Kat and usually just gives her a few pats before he goes on his business. She would roll over for him to pat her belly too.

But there are the few times when he gets so "geram" he squeals and laughs so loudly that it scares her.

Most of the time, she feels slightly lonely and will join Evan while he's playing or even accompany him in the bathroom while he takes his tubby

Look Ma! No hands!

He's standing! Walking isn't something he's looking to do in the near future. Why walk when he's finally perfected "speed crawling?" Baby steps I suppose....

Dinnertime theater

While I was not looking, the little boy planted his palm into his bowl of cereal and starting to play with his dinner. The "squishing" sound is especially popular!

I'm stuck!!

Evan is now trying to climb anything within his reach. As a result, we've barricaded the tv with his toys. Climbing over his
Bumbo seat, he got a little stuck. He couldn't figure out how to get his leg out of the chair!
