By the time we returned from Malaysia, most of the costumes were sold out. However, I found an Elvis costume that I simply could not pass on. In time, Evan will forgive me. Someday perhaps, I will also make him a Blue Hawaii fan
At first, he did not like the gold collar
or those fancy bell bottoms.
But he did like the flashlight and candy. Believe it or not, while it was not part of the costume, Evan sported blue suede shoes!

Elvis the Jedi Knight
Happy Brithday Evan (US version)
Getting ready for Malaysia
Jet lag Evan
After a very very long flight we finally arrived in Malaysia. Evan was fantastic for the most of the flight. However, he did have a breakdown while flying over Moscow. He had enough of his carseat and wanted a bed. Poor boy...
When we reached Taiping, Evan and Daddy enjoyed a much-needed nap.
Grumpy Evan = Clingy Evan (No Mommy! Don't leave me with these people!!)
But this fella over here has food....
Evan warms up to Ah Kong while there is food...

A real good haircut
About a day before we flew off, Evan's hair just grew into thick mop. So once we had the chance, both Daddy and Evan had the delightful experiece of having a Malaysian barber haircut. Daddy had the works which included the back-whack and grease-in-hair. Evan just had the trim.
They both came out looking like school boys but very happy with the short haircut.
