It's Halloween again!

By the time we returned from Malaysia, most of the costumes were sold out. However, I found an Elvis costume that I simply could not pass on. In time, Evan will forgive me. Someday perhaps, I will also make him a Blue Hawaii fan

At first, he did not like the gold collar

or those fancy bell bottoms.

But he did like the flashlight and candy. Believe it or not, while it was not part of the costume, Evan sported blue suede shoes!

Elvis the Jedi Knight

As the evening continued, Evan began to get into the fun of dressing up and kept on adding onto his costume.

Happy Brithday Evan (US version)

After two other attempts,we finally sat down to celebrate Evan's 2nd birthday with Gramma and Papa on Halloween. While the presents were a hit, his attention was entirely on his chocolate cake.

How many people does it take to change a diaper?

Getting ready for Malaysia

We're leaving for Malaysia today and I hear airplane food isn't very good. I need to fill up on these pancakes.

Let's go people! Traffic is bad in Jersey this time of day!

Do you have directions? Some one help me hit the accelerator? ...anybody?

Jet lag Evan

After a very very long flight we finally arrived in Malaysia. Evan was fantastic for the most of the flight. However, he did have a breakdown while flying over Moscow. He had enough of his carseat and wanted a bed. Poor boy...

When we reached Taiping, Evan and Daddy enjoyed a much-needed nap.

Grumpy Evan = Clingy Evan (No Mommy! Don't leave me with these people!!)

But this fella over here has food....

Evan warms up to Ah Kong while there is food...

We are wishing for warmer weather

Ah Kong's fish pond.

Evan had been running around at that Aulong house and was extremely sweaty. The garden hose was so refreshing for Evan that he ended up taking a 'shower/bath' in the garden.

Puttering around the grandparents house

How shall we orgainze the cabinet? I don't know my ABCs well enough to do it alphabetically....

Keeping it down to my fighting weight

What do you mean you don't have Bob the Builder on cable?! That's it, I'm running away.

A real good haircut

About a day before we flew off, Evan's hair just grew into thick mop. So once we had the chance, both Daddy and Evan had the delightful experiece of having a Malaysian barber haircut. Daddy had the works which included the back-whack and grease-in-hair. Evan just had the trim.

They both came out looking like school boys but very happy with the short haircut.

On cousins

On Mommy's side, Evan knows of his cousin Claire and her first experience with ice cream....

But there is the Other Cousin we do not talk about.

James' baby.

Tribute to Marilyn

Call me Marilyn!

hey, it's getting a little chilly here

Well, that was refreshing!

Muuuaaahhh!

Evan was into kissing during out trip to Malaysia. While in transit in Stockholm, he attempted to kiss another child. We weren't sure if it was another boy or girl! At least we know he doesn't discriminate.

Kiss for claire
