at the pool--take #2

with the Ah-mah and Ah-kong

Note Daddy's sunburn. He spent the afternoon in the sun while the rest of us reasonable people took naps

Evan tried the wings. He tried it for a while....

Was not a fan of it

3rd and last day at Pangkor

We left on the 3rd day--just a little before lunch.

I looooovvveeee Mommy! (Did I mention I just melted?)

The view was simply breathtaking.

While waiting for the very exciting open-air truck/ bus to take us back to the jetty, Evan shares a joke with Ah-Kong

His first Ice cream

On the ferry, I found out Jim didn't pack Evan's blue blanket. Jim though I packed the blue blanket. We spent the next 2 hours at Lumut, among the stinky dried-fish stall (oh heavenly sotong!), looking for souvenirs and waiting. His blanket was due to come on the next ferry. When we found out his blanket missed that ferry too, we reverted to comfort food. Ice cream. Evan had his first cone. He didn't figure out that the cone was edible.

The blanket arrived safely on the next express.

Home! Ahhh... Patty-Kat!

He really did miss his Patty-Kat. And I think with the two weeks of little contact with others, she welcomed his hugs and kisses too.

Let's go!

Now that Evan's got his Patty-Kat fix and without heat in the house, he's ready for another trip for warmer weather. He dragged the carry-on bag all the way to the car and had it next to him while he sat on the car seat.
