tua-ee-poh (Auntie Pauline)'s nasi lemak

satay

grilled chicken marinaded in James' secret recipe (Betty Yew)

and most importantly...Onde-Onde

made, with plenty of supervision by mum, by the Loh kids. A little to thick but still bursting with gula melaka. We made sure of it with plenty of product 'testing' during the process.

Going to Pangkor

We sat at the back of the boat to enjoy the view of the water. But within 10mins, we adjorned into the air conditioned part of the boat

Oh TLDM.... It brings back memories.

"Those are battleships? Really?"

At the pool

Evan hasn't been a fan of the pool as the YMCA pool, here in Bristol, is indoors. It is also always cold in the building. But after a few moments, Evan discovered the kiddie pool and really enjoyed it. He made friends with a German/ Malaysian boy who spoke nothing but German. All we understood was "gimme the bola!"

"This is a big tubbie!"

our afternoon

After the pool, we returned to our rooms to enjoy the air conditioning

We found our neighbor, the 'biawak', extremely shy

But the monkeys were another story. They can open the doors to the rooms.

After all the adventures, Evan chose to sleep on the floor. It was the coolest part of the room.
