Evan has learn that he should be gentle with Patty Kat and usually just gives her a few pats before he goes on his business. She would roll over for him to pat her belly too.
But there are the few times when he gets so "geram" he squeals and laughs so loudly that it scares her.
Most of the time, she feels slightly lonely and will join Evan while he's playing or even accompany him in the bathroom while he takes his tubby
He's standing! Walking isn't something he's looking to do in the near future. Why walk when he's finally perfected "speed crawling?" Baby steps I suppose....
While I was not looking, the little boy planted his palm into his bowl of cereal and starting to play with his dinner. The "squishing" sound is especially popular!
Evan is now trying to climb anything within his reach. As a result, we've barricaded the tv with his toys. Climbing over his Bumbo seat, he got a little stuck. He couldn't figure out how to get his leg out of the chair!
Evan's first tooth showed up shortly before Jim turned 45...I meant 35. He was fussy for a night or two and then settled back to his daily routine. He's working on his second one right now. And while he's teething, he's chomping on his teething ring, his rubber spoon, his wet face cloth,the remote control, his blanket, Mommy's arm.... Anything nearby is good.
